Respiratory Testing
Accurate, patient‑focused testing to understand and support your respiratory health.

What are respiratory tests?
A respiratory test is a medical test that checks how well your lungs and breathing system are working. These tests help doctors understand how you breathe, how much air your lungs can hold, and how well oxygen moves in and out of your body. Some common respiratory tests include spirometry, comprehensive lung function testing and FeNo. See below for more information about the respiratory tests we offer at CRS.
Procedures & Patient Preparation
Before your test, you will receive clear instructions about how to prepare, what to bring and what to expect on the day so your procedure can be completed safely and efficiently.
Comprehensive Lung Function Test
A full assessment of lung volumes, airflow, and gas exchange to evaluate overall respiratory health.
Spirometry
Measures how much air you can breathe in and out, and how quickly, to assess airway function.
Forced Oscillation Technique (FOT)
A gentle breathing test that measures airway resistance and reactance.
FeNo (Exhaled Nitric Oxide)
Measures airway inflammation commonly seen in asthma.
TLCO
Assesses how well oxygen moves from the lungs into the bloodstream.
Mannitol Bronchoprovocation Test
Evaluates airway sensitivity and responsiveness to help diagnose asthma
Respiratory Pressures (MIP/MEP)
Measures strength of the respiratory muscles.
Rhinomanometry
Assesses nasal airway resistance and airflow.
6 Minute Walk Test
Measures exercise capacity and oxygen levels during walking.
Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing
Evaluates heart and lung function during graded exercise.
Respiratory Consultation
Specialist assessment and management of respiratory conditions.
